The UCL Global Masters Scholarship aims to enable and encourage international students from lower income backgrounds to pursue full-time Master’s degree studies at UCL
UCL provides support to help identify and develop strong research proposals for global research funding in low- and middle-income countries. This includes support and advice for Official Development Assistance (ODA) funded research activity. Find out more about the support and advice available to researchers via the Global Research Funding pages.
Please note that some external funding calls are subject to an institutional cap. If so, applications must be referred to the relevant Research Facilitation or Coordination Office for your School that leads UCL’s internal selection processes. You should also seek approval from your department and Research Services in line with the usual approval process.
A number of funding streams are available to support joint projects between UCL academics and those at UCL’s key global partner institutions. In most cases, global partners have matched the funds committed by UCL for these funding streams, meaning larger overall pots of funding are available.
