Scholarship at the European Forum in Austria 2023
The European Forum Alpbach Scholarships is offering fully funded scholarships for international participants. The scholarship benefits include accommodation and reimbursement of travel expenses in addition to a daily allowance.
About The Scholarship
Every year hundreds of young talents from all over the world join the European Forum Alpbach (EFA) and come to our event. Students, young professionals and change-makers attend a variety of scientific, competency-based and technical seminars, and enjoy a high-level conference program as well as social and cultural activities in the village of Alpbach. Both the EFA itself and the Alpbach Forum Network (FAN) award around 400 scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria for European Forum
In order to apply for a scholarship, you must not have attended the on-site conference of the Alpbach European Forum as a scholarship holder before. in addition to;
- You must be able to communicate fluently in English (minimum level B2 European). There are several ways to prove your proficiency in the English language.
- All first-time scholarship applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 30. For African applicants, the minimum age of 35 applies.
- All young people who meet the scholarship requirements can apply regardless of their country of residence.
- Applicants from all academic disciplines are welcome. Artists and non-graduates are also strongly encouraged to apply!
- All applicants must be available and ready to attend the Alpbach European Forum 2023 for a minimum of 12 days.

- Evidence of your B2 level of English as mentioned in the “English language proficiency” section
- Most recent diploma with transcript of records (in English, German or French)
- Personal information, biographical details and a motivational statement (find out more on the official application page)
