The Internship Program offers an internship programme that allows students from a variety of academic backgrounds to gain work experience with an international organisation.
Interns are assigned to departments/units based on their interests and qualifications, as well as the needs of the department. Eligibility Criteria For The OPEC internship Program
- Applicants must be between the age of 19-25.
- Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate program (completed at least two years) or a graduate program. Alternatively, applicants can be recent graduates, who have graduated a maximum of one year prior to the application deadline.
- Applicants must be proficient in English. Knowledge of an additional language (eg French, Spanish, Arabic) will be a positive point.
- Computer skills in standard software applications (Microsoft Office).
- Applicants must be interested in the work of the OPEC Fund.
- They must be able to demonstrate cultural awareness.
- Able to demonstrate the core values of the OPEC Fund (integrity, empowerment, excellence, innovation, community).
