- Bachelor’s degree is necessary.
- Both the candidate and his or her parents must be foreign nationals.
- While it must be equivalent to what is offered by Korean educational institutions, the candidate must complete primary, middle, and high school outside of Korea.

- Candidates must have a master’s degree.
